Skillmatics Storybook Art Kit – Adventures, Writing Activity, Gift for Kids

The Skillmatics Storybook Art Kit gives young children a complete set of supplies to write, illustrate, and assemble their own adventure books. It is designed for kids ages 5 to 10 who want a screen-free activity that blends creative writing with visual arts. Instead of starting from scratch on loose sheets of paper, children receive structured guidance alongside art materials to create keepsake stories.

The kit supplies two blank hardbound books, making the finished projects look and feel like real published stories. To help children through the creative process, the package includes five writing prompts and 13 vocabulary lists. These resources help young writers generate narrative ideas and find new words to express themselves without getting stuck on a blank page.

For illustrating and decorating, the kit contains eight colorful markers, two pencils, over 100 colorful stickers, and more than 50 DIY stickers. The included instruction manual guides children through each step, allowing them to work independently while developing essential communication and creative thinking skills.

Because the kit includes exactly two hardbound books and five writing prompts, children who write quickly will eventually run out of blank volumes. The package also does not state page counts or dimensions for the books, so buyers looking for specific book sizes will need to note that limitation.

Verdict: The Skillmatics Storybook Art Kit is a practical, engaging choice for children aged 5 to 10 who enjoy art and storytelling. It provides all the guided tools and supplies needed to turn imaginative ideas into two complete, illustrated hardcover books.
