Blue Squid 3000+ pcs Arts and Crafts Supplies for Kids | Craft

The Blue Squid Arts and Crafts Supplies Chest is a comprehensive creative station designed for children ages 4 to 12. Instead of loose bags of materials that create clutter, this set consolidates more than 3000 individual crafting pieces into a single, organized workstation for young artists, making it suitable for everything from making friendship bracelets to scrapbooking.

Storage and accessibility are the standout elements of the design. The chest features two built-in drawers divided into 18 dedicated compartments. This setup keeps smaller items like sequins, googly eyes, gem stickers, and beads separated from larger components like pipe cleaners, wooden shapes, popsicle sticks, and feathers. A sturdy top handle attached to the durable outer case lets kids carry the entire collection to playdates or family gatherings without spilling supplies.

In terms of usability, the kit includes practical tools right out of the box, such as safety scissors, glitter glue, and colored strings. For children needing project guidance, the back of the packaging features a scannable QR code that directs users to craft tips, step-by-step tutorials, and project ideas, helping to develop fine motor skills and creative problem-solving.

As for trade-offs, the set relies heavily on an assortment of tiny components like plastic and wooden beads, buttons, and sequins, which may easily scatter if younger children use the box without supervision. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the exact exterior dimensions of the chest, so you will need to estimate storage shelf space based on the two-drawer format.

Verdict: This all-in-one craft chest is an excellent choice for parents and gift-givers wanting a well-organized, massive variety of craft materials in one portable container. It is best suited for children ages 4 to 12 who enjoy open-ended making, jewelry assembly, and hands-on art projects.
