Detailed Review

The Palisade Vinyl Tile Surround Kit in Polar offers an all-in-one wall covering solution designed for straightforward do-it-yourself renovations. Made from lightweight PVC material, these tiles eliminate the mess of traditional grout while delivering a clean, modern look. The kit covers up to 84 square feet, making it suitable for larger renovation areas that need a durable wall finish.

Each panel measures 25.6 inches wide by 14.8 inches high with a 5-millimeter thickness. The large panel format speeds up the installation process over broad surfaces. Because PVC is naturally resistant to water, sunlight, and regular washing, the surface holds up well against daily moisture and cleaning routines.

Installation is built around an interlocking tongue-and-groove system that snaps into place. The complete package arrives in three boxes and includes 32 total tile pieces across four cartons, two inside corner trims, two J-trims, two L-trims (all measuring 94 inches long), plus five tubes of adhesive and two tubes of sealant.

Keep in mind that achieving full waterproofing requires careful prep work. You must install the tiles over a dedicated waterproof substrate and apply a line of silicone sealant along the tongue-and-groove connection between each panel before snapping them together.

Verdict: This Palisade surround kit is an ideal choice for DIYers who want a comprehensive, grout-free wall upgrade. If you have an 84-square-foot project area and want all matching trims and adhesives bundled together, this kit provides a straightforward solution.
