Detailed Review
The SZHLUX 32-Inch Live Animal Cage Trap offers a humane way to capture and relocate nuisance wildlife or stray pets without causing injury. Designed for smaller critters like raccoons, stray cats, squirrels, and groundhogs, this trap allows you to catch animals with simple bait and release them back outdoors.
Constructed from low-carbon steel wire joined by medium-frequency welding, the cage provides a firm, flat surface that resists rust and weather. An oblong support frame holds the cage firmly in shape, while fixing clips secure the rear door. Inside, smoothed edges help prevent trapped animals from hurting themselves while contained.
Handler safety and ease of use are central to the design. A top cover guard board keeps your hands protected from scratching or biting, and an included distance-extending release tool lets you open the cage safely. To prevent false triggers from outside interference, the pedal mechanism connecting rod is routed inside the wire enclosure.
Setup takes four straightforward steps without any tools, and the entire unit collapses nearly flat to fit inside a standard car trunk. Note that with dimensions of 32 by 10 by 12 inches, this cage is intended strictly for small to medium-small animals and will not accommodate larger dog breeds or larger wildlife.
Verdict: The SZHLUX 32-Inch Live Animal Trap is a practical, user-friendly choice for homeowners looking to safely trap and relocate small yard pests or rescue stray cats with minimal hassle.
