Havahart 1085 Large 1-Door Easy Set Humane Live Animal Trap for Armadillos,

The Havahart 1085 Large 1-Door Easy Set Humane Live Animal Trap provides a secure, non-lethal way to capture and relocate wildlife. Designed for animals such as armadillos, groundhogs, raccoons, skunks, stray cats, foxes, and small dogs, it helps homeowners and property managers address nuisance animals safely.

Durability and safety are at the core of the construction. The cage is constructed from heavy-duty, galvanized one-piece wire mesh to resist rust and corrosion, paired with a solid steel door. Inside, smooth edges prevent captured animals from injuring themselves, while an integrated handle guard protects your hands from contact with the animal during transport.

Operation relies on Easy Set technology, which lets you set and release the mechanism using just one hand in a quick motion. Its single-door configuration ensures that the animal must step all the way inside before the door closes, resulting in fewer premature trips and fewer escapes.

Because this model features a 1-door layout, it does not allow animals to see an open exit on the opposite end, which some trappers prefer for cautious animals. Additionally, the listing does not specify the exact dimensions or weight of the cage, so you cannot check precise clearance measurements beforehand.

Verdict: The Havahart 1085 is a sturdy, dependable choice for anyone needing a humane live trap for medium-to-large wildlife. Its one-handed operation and built-in safety features make it well-suited for safe, straightforward trapping around the home or farm.
