The Techkey Long Range USB Bluetooth 5.4 Adapter brings wireless capability to desktop computers that lack built-in Bluetooth hardware. Designed for users who need dependable wireless connectivity for their workspace, this compact dongle lets you connect multiple accessories without dealing with messy cable runs.
Equipped with an extra long antenna and Class 1 radio technology, the adapter supports a transmission range of up to 500 feet (150 meters) in open areas. It utilizes Bluetooth 5.4 with EDR and Low Energy configurations, delivering transmission speeds up to 3Mbps. This design maintains responsive wireless links and cuts down on signal loss from 2.4GHz band interference, ensuring quick communication between your PC and peripherals.
Setup is straightforward thanks to its plug-and-play design, which requires no driver installation to begin working. Once inserted into a USB port, it allows you to connect up to 5 devices simultaneously, including keyboards, mice, headsets, speakers, and printers. It also maintains backward compatibility across a wide range of older standards, including Bluetooth 5.3, 5.2, 4.2, 4.0, and 2.1+EDR.
Operating system support is restricted exclusively to Windows 11, 10, and 8.1. It cannot be used with Mac OS, Linux, gaming consoles such as the PS4 or Xbox, car stereos, or televisions.
