Detailed Review
The Lichamp LED Camping Lantern four-pack provides multi-room illumination and emergency lighting for outdoor adventures or sudden power outages. Each unit features 30 energy-efficient LEDs powered by COB technology, delivering 350 lumens of 360-degree light that covers up to 97 square feet. This bundle suits households, campers, and hikers who need dependable, straightforward lighting without complex controls.
Operation is straightforward and relies on a collapsible design rather than standard buttons or switches. Simply pulling up on the foldaway handles activates the lantern and adjusts the brightness level based on how far it is extended. When closed, each lantern collapses down for storage in backpacks, car trunks, or home emergency kits, while the integrated handles allow for effortless carrying or overhead hanging in tents and garages.
The construction utilizes water-resistant and military-grade plastic engineered to withstand external shocks and everyday handling. Despite providing bright illumination, the housing maintains a low surface temperature, making it safe to touch during operation. The precision-engineered casing and ergonomic handles offer a secure, comfortable grip whether moving through dark hallways or packing gear for a fishing trip.
A notable consideration is the power source, as each individual lantern requires three AA batteries that are not included in the package. Supplying all four units will require a total of twelve AA batteries before first use. The product details also do not specify run times per battery set.
Verdict: This four-pack of Lichamp collapsible lanterns is an effective, user-friendly lighting option for families and outdoor enthusiasts preparing for storms, outages, or camping trips. If you want portable, switch-free lanterns and do not mind providing your own AA batteries, this set is a practical choice.
