Detailed Review
The HP LaserJet MFP M234dw is an all-in-one monochrome laser printer designed for small teams of one to five people who need to print, scan, and copy documents regularly. It consolidates everyday office document tasks into a single device, focusing on producing clear black-and-white text pages and reports without extra complexity.
Speed is a clear focus for this model. It delivers single-sided black-and-white prints at up to 30 pages per minute and automatically handles two-sided printing at up to 19 images per minute. For daily workflows, this keeps large reports and multi-page paperwork moving quickly without manual page flipping.
Connecting to the printer is straightforward across a wide variety of hardware. It features dual-band Wi-Fi with a self-reset function that automatically detects and resolves network interruptions, alongside an included Ethernet port for wired setups. Users can print from PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, Android devices, and iOS hardware via AirPrint, while the HP Smart app enables mobile copying and scanning directly to cloud services.
Because this is a dedicated monochrome unit, it cannot produce color prints or color copies. It is also built specifically for shared use among smaller groups of one to five people, meaning larger offices with heavy volume needs may find its capacity restrictive.
Verdict: The HP LaserJet MFP M234dw is a practical, dependable choice for home offices and small workgroups needing fast, automatic two-sided black-and-white printing. It provides versatile wireless connectivity and all-in-one utility for everyday document workflows.
