Detailed Review
The HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdw is an all-in-one monochrome laser printer designed for offices and teams of up to 7 users. It combines black-and-white printing, scanning, copying, and fax capabilities into a single machine to handle essential daily paperwork without requiring multiple separate devices.
Output speed reaches up to 35 black-and-white pages per minute for single-sided sheets, keeping wait times low on high-volume reports. Daily workflow is supported by automatic two-sided printing to cut paper consumption, while the integrated auto document feeder manages hands-free scanning and copying for multi-page documents.
Connectivity options cover intelligent Wi-Fi that seeks stable network connections, alongside Ethernet and Bluetooth support. The device works across PC, Mac, Android, Chromebook, and AirPrint platforms, and it includes HP Wolf Pro Security with customizable options to protect hardware and digital data.
As a monochrome laser printer, this unit does not produce color prints. Its shared capacity is also focused specifically on small teams rather than large office departments.
Verdict: The HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdw is a solid, practical choice for small offices needing quick monochrome printing, scanning, and faxing. It fits small teams that prioritize broad device compatibility, fast output, and document security.
