Detailed Review
The Milwaukee Band Saw delivers dedicated cutting capability in a compact format designed for tradespeople and DIYers tackling metal and material trimming. Built for maneuverability, it offers high-efficiency motor technology to handle tough cuts without excessive bulk.
This model features a POWERSTATE brushless motor paired with Constant Power Technology, engineered to deliver the fastest cutting speed in its class. In daily use, this combination maintains steady power under load so cuts finish quickly and cleanly.
Handling is noticeably improved over older designs, as this band saw is over 20% lighter than the original M18 Compact Band Saw. The reduced weight makes a noticeable difference during extended use or when working in awkward positions.
As for trade-offs, the product listing does not state whether a battery, charger, or blades are included in the package. The manufacturer also does not list specific cutting capacities, overall tool dimensions, or weight figures beyond the percentage reduction.
Verdict: The Milwaukee Band Saw is a solid pick for tradespeople who need fast cutting speeds and a lightweight frame. If you already own compatible Milwaukee accessories and want a faster, lighter compact saw, this model fits the bill.
