Detailed Review
The ZENY Live Animal Cage Trap offers a humane way to capture, relocate, or rescue medium-sized wildlife and stray pets around your property. Measuring 32 by 12.5 by 12 inches, this cage provides adequate room for animals like raccoons, groundhogs, stray cats, opossums, and rabbits without causing them physical harm.
Built from rust-resistant, high-tensile wire mesh, the cage is engineered for both durability and animal safety. Its interior features smoothed wire edges to prevent cuts or scrapes while the animal is contained. For the handler, a solid door combined with a wide handle guard shields your fingers from bites or scratches when carrying the occupied cage.
Operation relies on a spring-loaded door connected to a sensitive trip pedal. When an animal steps on the trigger plate, the door immediately drops shut to prevent escape. When pest control tasks are finished, the entire unit collapses flat in minutes, sliding easily into narrow storage spaces in a shed or garage.
Because the trap dimensions are fixed at 32 inches long and 12 inches high, it is strictly suited for medium and small nuisance wildlife. The listing does not specify overall product weight or wire gauge thickness, so ensure your target animals match the recommended species profile before deployment.
Verdict: The ZENY Live Animal Cage Trap is a practical, budget-friendly pick for homeowners needing to catch and release medium nuisance animals safely. Its collapsible frame and protective handle make wildlife relocation simple and manageable.
