DEVAISE 3 Drawer Mobile File Cabinet with Lock, Under Desk Metal Filing

The DEVAISE 3-Drawer Mobile File Cabinet is an under-desk metal storage organizer designed for home offices and commercial workspaces. It addresses the common problem of cluttered desks by providing dedicated storage for stationery and documents right under your work surface.

Organization is straightforward thanks to two upper drawers with a removable pencil tray and a bottom file drawer. The file drawer features a removable hanging bar that adjusts to support letter, legal, and A4 hanging folders. For security, an interlock mechanism lets you lock all three drawers simultaneously using one of the two provided keys.

Mobility is handled by a five-caster base, which includes two front casters with built-in brakes and a center wheel designed to keep the unit from tipping over when lower drawers are extended. Setup is minimal, as the cabinet arrives fully assembled with only the wheels needing installation, and the entire unit is backed by a one-year warranty.

As for trade-offs, the cabinet requires you to install the casters yourself before you can roll it into place. Additionally, its rigid metal exterior measures 17.1 inches deep, 14.6 inches wide, and 23.6 inches high, so you will want to verify your under-desk clearance before buying.

Verdict: This mobile unit is a practical, secure choice for anyone needing flexible document and supply storage without taking up extra floor space. It suits workers who want an organized, locking metal cabinet that slides directly beneath a standard desk.
