BIC Xtra Smooth Mechanical Pencil, 0.7 mm Medium Point, 40-Count Pack

The BIC Xtra Smooth Mechanical Pencil 40-count pack provides an easy, low-maintenance writing supply for busy classrooms, home study areas, and daily note-taking. Featuring a 0.7 mm medium point, these pencils eliminate the need for pencil sharpeners, keeping a reliable writing point ready whenever you click the top.

The lead formula is built to resist smudges and lay down clean graphite that erases without leaving residual marks behind. This makes it practical for standardized testing, general schoolwork, and both right- and left-handed writers who want neat notebook pages. Because both the graphite and erasers are fully replaceable, each pencil can be reused repeatedly rather than discarded once empty.

As a basic school and office supply, the pack focuses solely on standard 0.7 mm medium-point pencils. If you prefer ultra-fine lines or specialized grip materials, this bundle does not offer multiple point sizes, and it requires you to supply your own refills once the included lead runs out.

Verdict: This 40-pack is an ideal, dependable option for students, teachers, and parents looking to stock supply drawers for the entire school year. It offers clean, refillable writing performance without the hassle of sharpening.

A great fit if you:

• Need to stock a classroom drawer, home study desk, or multiple backpacks for the school year
• Take standardized tests or write daily school assignments requiring a standard 0.7 mm point
• Want smudge-free writing that erases cleanly for left- or right-handed use
• Prefer refillable mechanical pencils over disposable wooden pencils that need sharpening

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer extra-fine or broad lead widths instead of 0.7 mm medium points
• Only need a single pencil rather than a large 40-count bulk set
