KnuKonceptz Kord Speaker Cable 12 Gauge Oxygen Free Copper Speaker Wire -

KnuKonceptz Kord 12 Gauge Speaker Wire is a dedicated two-conductor audio cable built for setups that demand genuine copper over copper-clad aluminum alternatives. It gives audio enthusiasts, home theater builders, and automotive customizers a dependable cable with verified wire gauge and material standards.

The cable is constructed with 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), featuring 294 strands per conductor. Because pure copper provides lower electrical resistance compared to cheaper CCA wire, it helps support improved frequency response across your system. The conductor area exceeds standard American Wire Gauge (AWG) measurements, and KnuKonceptz prints the exact material and gauge specifications directly onto every single foot of the outer jacket so there is never any question about the wire in your hands.

Routing cables through tight spaces or along trim is simplified by the Ultra Flex PVC jacket. Designed with no memory, the soft casing lays flat immediately after uncoiling without binding, twisting, or kinking. This pliable exterior makes it easy to run the wire smoothly under rugs or flush against baseboards.

While this cable functions across home audio, car audio, trucks, RVs, low-voltage lighting, and hobby crafts, buyers should note that the listing does not specify exterior direct-burial or in-wall fire ratings. Total spool length is also not stated in the core specification text, so you will want to verify your required run length prior to ordering.

Verdict: KnuKonceptz Kord 12 Gauge Cable is an excellent choice for anyone setting up home theater systems, car stereo setups, or low-voltage DC circuits who wants true 99.99% oxygen-free copper with great routing flexibility.

• Wire Gauge: 12 AWG (True American Wire Gauge standard)
• Conductor Material: 99.99% Oxygen Free Copper (OFC)
• Strand Count: 294 strands per conductor
• Conductor Count: 2 conductors
• Jacket Type: Ultra Flex no-memory PVC
• Markings: Material and gauge printed on every foot

A great fit if you:

• Need genuine 99.99% oxygen-free copper rather than copper-clad aluminum for low resistance
• Are wiring home theater speakers, car audio systems, or truck sound equipment
• Want a cable that lays completely flat under carpets or along baseboards without curling
• Require clear gauge and material markings printed along the entire wire run
• Need a reliable two-conductor wire for RVs, trailers, or low-voltage lighting

Consider something else if you:

• Require specific in-wall or in-ground certifications not listed in the product data
• Need pre-terminated speaker cables with factory-installed banana plugs

What is this speaker wire made of?
It is made of audiophile grade 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), which provides lower resistance than copper-clad aluminum (CCA) cable.

How many strands are in each conductor?
Each 12 AWG conductor contains 294 individual strands, which exceeds standard American Wire Gauge dimensions for total conductor area.

Does the jacket hold a coil shape after unwinding?
No. The Ultra Flex PVC jacket is designed with no memory, meaning it lays flat immediately after uncoiling and resists kinking or binding.

What applications can this cable be used for?
It can be used for home theater, car and truck audio, low-voltage lighting, trailer and RV electrical wiring, or low-voltage hobby and craft projects.
