Detailed Review
This Foundations 13 Series tub and shower trim set updates your bathroom hardware while addressing common shower annoyances like sudden temperature shifts. It suits homeowners and renovators looking for a reliable, clean-looking brushed nickel fixture that maintains steady water delivery.
The included Monitor pressure-balanced valve cartridge monitors hot and cold water pressure to prevent shocking temperature changes whenever a toilet flushes or an appliance runs. For daily bathing, the showerhead delivers an intensely powerful full body spray pattern. Upkeep is straightforward thanks to Touch-Clean spray holes, allowing you to wipe away calcium and lime accumulation using only your finger.
Durability is a focal point of the design. The brushed nickel finish is engineered and certified to resist corrosion at twice the industry standard, helping ensure the surface will not chip, peel, blister, or change color over time. The entire fixture is also backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
The main trade-off is installation completeness. This package contains only the trim kit and cartridge; you must purchase a compatible MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve (such as model R10000-UNBXHF) separately to install the unit. The listing also does not detail the specific spray pattern options beyond the 2-spray designation.
Verdict: This faucet set is an excellent choice for anyone remodeling a bath who wants reliable anti-scald protection and an easy-to-maintain finish. Make sure to factor in the separate purchase of the compatible rough-in valve before starting your project.
