Detailed Review
The WINMAU Diamond Plus Dartboard provides a tournament-standard scoring surface designed for regular practice, competitive play, and social games. Built to official specifications, it offers a familiar setup whether you are mounting it in a home games room, a pub, or a local club.
At the center of its build is dense sisal fiber, which naturally recovers after each throw to preserve the playing surface over continuous use. To help keep scoring consistent, the board features advanced triangular high-tensile wiring. This angled wire profile guides incoming darts directly into scoring segments rather than causing deflections.
Scoring in the center is further aided by a precision CNC-engineered, staple-free bullseye. By removing physical staples from the target zone, the design eliminates key obstructions for cleaner dart entry during crucial shots.
As a traditional sisal board, it requires manual scorekeeping and does not feature electronic tracking. Additionally, the listed specifications do not state whether mounting hardware, a cabinet, or darts are included in the package.
Verdict: The WINMAU Diamond Plus is a reliable choice for players seeking an official tournament-specification sisal board. Its staple-free bullseye and bounce-reducing wire design make it well suited for daily training sessions and club play.
