Installation is straightforward and requires only a screwdriver. The handle is reversible, allowing you to mount it on both left-handed and right-handed doors without hassle. It accommodates standard door thicknesses ranging from 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches, and the latch backset adjusts from 2-3/8 inches to 2-3/4 inches with a simple twist during setup.

For durability and hygiene, this hardware is Grade 2 BHMA certified for security, finish, and wear resistance against everyday use and forced entry methods. It is also treated with Microban protection, keeping the surface 99.9% cleaner than untreated fixtures. The package includes the interior and exterior levers, adjustable latch, installation hardware, an install guide, and an emergency release tool, all backed by a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.

As an interior privacy handle, it relies on a specific release tool rather than a keyed lock, making it unsuitable for exterior entryways that demand keyed security. The listing also does not mention specific color finishes, so you will want to confirm the style matches your existing hardware.
