Detailed Review
The Verbatim DataLifePlus 50-pack CD-R spindle provides blank optical media tailored for custom labeling and dependable recording. Each disc holds 700MB of data or up to 80 minutes of audio, making this pack practical for burning music albums, archiving files, or preparing professional client presentations.
A standout feature is the white inkjet printable surface that extends all the way to the hub. It is engineered for fast ink absorption and supports high-resolution printing up to 5,760 DPI on compatible disc printers from brands like Epson, Primera, and Microboards. This allows you to apply full-color, photo-quality graphics and clear text directly onto the disc face without relying on paper labels.
For recording, Verbatim utilizes patented Advanced Super AZO dye technology. This recording layer optimizes read and write performance, enabling write speeds up to 52X that can complete a full disc burn in approximately 5 minutes. The media is backed by technical support and a limited lifetime warranty from a company producing data storage since 1969.
Keep in mind that taking advantage of the printable face requires a dedicated CD/DVD inkjet printer. Additionally, with 700MB of storage per disc, larger multimedia projects or large data backups will require higher-capacity formats or spanning across multiple discs.
Verdict: This 50-pack is an excellent choice for musicians, videographers, and businesses needing dependable audio or data discs with clean, full-face custom printing.
