52.76-62.2 Inch Extra Wide Baby Gate Pressure Mounted for Doorways | No
Highlights
- 【Extra Wide Baby Gate for Large Openings】This selected size fits openings from 52.76 to 62.2 inches wide, including extra-wide doorways, wide hallways, kitchen entrances, open living spaces, and openings at the bottom of stairs. Use this extra wide gate to limit access to the kitchen, separate a play area, or divide a large living space. Measure your opening before ordering.
- 【Double Lock with One-Hand Opening】When carrying a child, groceries, or laundry, press the button on top of the gate’s locking handle, then push the handle back to release the latch. The door can then be pushed or pulled open with one hand. This child safety gate uses a two-step release that is convenient for adults while helping reduce unintended opening by young children and pets.
- 【Auto Close with Two-Way Door Swing】The walk-through gate swings in both directions, so you can push or pull the door open from either side. When opened to less than 90 degrees, the door returns and closes automatically; at 90 degrees or wider, it stays open. The hold-open position is useful when carrying groceries, laundry, or other household items between rooms.
- 【Pressure Mounting for Easy Setup】For wide doorways, hallways, kitchens, room entrances, living areas, and the bottom of stairs, the pressure-mounted gate offers a convenient no-drill setup, while hardware mounting is also available for a fixed installation. At the top of stairs, hardware mounting with screws and wall cups is required. Do not cut the zip tie between the locking handle and the gate frame until installation is complete.
- 【Indoor Dog Gate for Pets】The metal gate creates a visible physical boundary for toddlers, dogs, and appropriately sized household pets while keeping adjoining rooms in view. This indoor dog gate and pet gate has vertical bars spaced 2.17 inches apart. Before use with a small dog or other small pet, confirm that its head and body cannot pass through the openings.

Detailed Reviews
The TSAYAWA 52.76-62.2 Inch Extra Wide Baby Gate is an excellent choice for households with unusually large doorways or open living spaces where standard gates fall short. The pressure-mounted design makes installation straightforward and damage-free, though users with challenging wall types may need to opt for hardware mounting. The dual-lock system with one-hand release is particularly useful for busy parents or caregivers who frequently carry items between rooms, and the automatic closing feature ensures consistent safety without relying on memory.
Real-world usage shows that the two-way swing capability adapts well to different household traffic patterns, while the hold-open position at 90 degrees is genuinely practical for transporting groceries or laundry. The gate works effectively for both toddlers and pets, making it versatile for multi-pet households.
Verdict: With an 8.8/10 rating, the TSAYAWA extra-wide gate delivers solid performance for its specific purpose and represents a reliable investment for large openings. However, buyers must measure carefully before ordering and consider their wall type to ensure proper installation and maximum safety.
