Perky-Pet Red Cardinal Wild Bird Feeder, 2.5 lb Seed Capacity

Perky-Pet 2.5 lb Bird Feeder is a bird feeder for shoppers who want a roomy seed station with simple outdoor placement and repeat use in mind. Its 2.5 lb capacity makes it suited for people who want to keep a backyard feeding area supplied with black oil sunflower seeds while attracting birds such as cardinals, finches, and chickadees.

The main feature to consider is the seed capacity. The feeder holds up to 2.5 lbs of black oil sunflower seeds, giving birds access to a larger supply from one filling. Its circular 360 degree seed tray creates a broad feeding area designed for both clinging and perching species, and the tray can accommodate up to 15 birds at the same time.

Perky-Pet also focuses on a durable outdoor design with an all metal construction and rust resistant powder coat finish. For shoppers who want a feeder intended for repeat use, these materials are designed to help the feeder handle outdoor elements. The built in hanging hook adds convenience by allowing placement around a yard, patio, or balcony.

The collapsible design is another practical detail, especially for bird lovers who want a feeder that can be stored away when it is not needed. The trade off is that this model is focused on a specific 2.5 lb capacity rather than offering multiple sizes in the listed features. Buyers who need a different capacity or a different feeding style may want to compare other options.

Verdict: This bird feeder is a good choice for shoppers who want a hanging feeder with a generous seed capacity, a wide feeding tray, and a metal design. Look elsewhere if your priority is a different capacity option or a different type of feeding setup.

A great fit if you:

• Want a backyard feeding station that can support several birds at one time.
• Prefer a bird feeder with a design intended for repeat outdoor use.
• Need a feeder that can be stored more easily between periods of use.

Consider something else if you:

• Need a larger capacity model for your specific feeding routine.
• Prefer a different style of feeder that does not use a hanging design.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check whether the feeder size and hanging placement work for your intended outdoor space.
• Confirm that the seed type you plan to use matches the listed black oil sunflower seed compatibility.
• Check what is included in the box if you need any additional setup items.
• Review care details on the listing to understand recommended maintenance.

How to compare your options: Compare bird feeders by the capacity, feeding area, material, and placement style that match your needs. This model focuses on a 2.5 lb capacity, an all metal construction, a circular feeding tray, and a built in hanging hook. Consider which combination of features fits the birds you want to attract and where you plan to place the feeder.

Place the feeder in the location that works best for your backyard, patio, or balcony setup. Use the built in hanging hook according to the placement method you choose.

Fill the feeder with black oil sunflower seeds if that is the seed option you plan to provide. The circular tray is designed to give birds access from different sides.

Keep the feeder in good condition by following any care guidance provided with the product. The all metal design and rust resistant powder coat finish are intended for outdoor use, while regular care can help maintain the feeder's condition.

If you store the feeder during periods when it is not needed, the collapsible design can help save space in storage areas.
