Detailed Review
The National Tree Company 7.5ft Pre-Lit Carolina Pine is a full-sized artificial tree designed for anyone wanting a traditional holiday centerpiece without the chore of stringing light strands by hand. Standing seven and a half feet tall with a wide 61-inch base diameter, it fills standard living rooms and family spaces with a full-bodied shape made of hundreds of individually crafted branch tips.
Setup revolves around pre-attached hinged branches that drop down into position when assembling and fold back in when the season ends. The tree comes pre-strung with 750 white lights that remain lit even if a single bulb fails, preventing dark sections across your display. A durable metal base is included in the box to keep the assembled structure firmly in place.
The materials include hypo-allergenic, fire-resistant needles that give the branches a lifelike look while avoiding real-tree allergens. For the best visual result, plan to spend 45 to 60 minutes peeling back the branches and separating individual tips to properly shape the tree after unboxing.
As for trade-offs, the 61-inch base requires a noticeable amount of clear floor area, making it less practical for tight corners or compact apartments. The shaping process also takes dedicated physical effort out of the box, and the lighting is limited to static white bulbs with no multicolor or flashing settings specified in the product details.
Verdict: This tree is a solid match for homeowners who have ample floor space and want a classic, full-profile tree with pre-installed lighting. If you are willing to spend an hour shaping the branches, it delivers a dependable, hassle-free centerpiece year after year.
