Detailed Review
The Heritage Products Acacia Wood Pizza Peel provides a dedicated surface for launching, turning, and serving homemade pizzas. Sized at 22 by 14 inches, this wooden paddle gives home bakers ample space to build large pies without running out of room on the edges.
Transferring dough in and out of a hot oven is made easier with the tapered edge, which helps slide the paddle cleanly beneath crusts on a pizza stone. The long wooden handle keeps your hands at a comfortable distance from radiant heat during baking, while the integrated handle design also allows you to hang the board up when dinner is finished.
Crafted from acacia wood, the board is designed with enough thickness to prevent warping while remaining easy to handle. Beyond oven duty, its smooth wooden presentation lets you bring the paddle straight to the dinner table to use as a rustic serving platter.
As a trade-off, the full 22-inch length means you will need adequate cabinet space or a free hook if you plan to store it hanging up. Additionally, the product details do not include specific cleaning guidance, oil treatment steps, or dishwasher safety advice, so standard wood care is assumed.
Verdict: The Heritage Products Acacia Wood Pizza Peel is a practical choice for home cooks who make large pizzas and want a warp-resistant paddle that doubles as an attractive serving board.
