EGO POWER+ Electric Lawn Mower, Self-Propelled Cordless with 22" Aluminum Deck, Select Cut and Touch Drive, Includes 56V 10.0Ah Battery and Charger - LM2206SP

The EGO Power+ LM2206SP is a cordless self-propelled electric lawn mower built around a 22-inch cast aluminum cutting deck. It targets homeowners who want to leave behind gasoline maintenance without sacrificing cutting capability or deck strength. By pairing a high-capacity 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium battery with a multi-blade cutting setup, this machine offers a complete, emission-free yard maintenance solution right out of the box.

Cutting power comes from an electric motor delivering up to 11.1 ft-lbs of cutting torque and blade speeds reaching 3,350 RPM. This motor drives the Select Cut multi-blade cutting system, which pairs an upper blade with interchangeable lower blades. You can install the included high-performance lower blade or swap in the high-lift bagging lower blade depending on how you handle clippings. Surrounding this assembly is a 22-inch cast aluminum deck, protected by a lifetime deck warranty, providing rugged durability that resists impacts and seasonal wear.

Operating the self-propel system relies on EGO Touch Drive technology. You engage propulsion simply by resting your palm against the control surface, while a scroll dial lets you adjust walking speed without breaking your stride. Energy is provided by a 56V 10.0Ah battery that provides up to 70 minutes of continuous runtime on a single charge. When the battery runs low, the included 56V 700W charger replenishes it, and the mower remains compatible with any existing battery from the EGO 56V ARC Lithium lineup.

While the cast aluminum deck delivers long-term durability, metal construction naturally adds overall weight to the machine compared to composite plastic decks. The package also relies on a single 10.0Ah battery, meaning yards requiring more than 70 minutes of continuous mowing will need a pause for recharging or a second battery pack. Additionally, the listing does not state physical storage dimensions or deck height adjustment increments, which buyers may want to verify before purchasing.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ LM2206SP is an outstanding option for homeowners seeking heavy-duty cutting strength, versatile grass disposal options, and cast-metal construction in an electric platform. If you have a medium to large yard and want reliable cordless operation backed by a lifetime deck warranty, this complete kit is well worth your investment.

Confirm on the listing:

How to compare your options: Focus on deck build material, runtime capacity, and blade versatility when evaluating cordless self-propelled mowers. Cast aluminum provides rigid impact resistance compared to standard plastic decks, while included interchangeable blades offer dedicated mulching or high-lift bagging setups. Matching the 70-minute battery performance to the square footage of your yard ensures you finish mowing without interruption.

Select the lower blade that matches your yard plan before starting. Install the high-performance lower blade when mulching with the mulching insert, or swap in the high-lift lower blade when collecting clippings in the grass catcher.

Adjust your pace comfortably by using the Touch Drive dial while maintaining palm contact on the handle to guide the mower steadily across the lawn.

Connect the 56V 10.0Ah battery to the 700W charger after each session so your equipment remains fully prepared for the next scheduled lawn care routine.

Keep the 22-inch cast aluminum deck clean by clearing away wet clippings and buildup from underneath after each mowing session, following any manufacturer guidance provided in the user manual.
