Detailed Reviews

The Cat Mate C20 is a practical automatic feeder designed primarily for wet food storage and controlled feeding intervals. The dual 450-gram bowls provide generous capacity, making it suitable for households with multiple cats or for owners who prefer less frequent refilling. The included ice pack is a thoughtful addition that significantly extends food freshness, particularly beneficial for wet food which can deteriorate quickly in warm conditions. The dishwasher-safe components make maintenance straightforward, and the optional wooden board adds stability to prevent tipping. This feeder works best for pet owners seeking a simple, no-frills solution for scheduled feeding without complex programming requirements.

Verdict: The Cat Mate C20 offers solid value for budget-conscious pet owners who need a reliable, easy-to-clean automatic feeder with basic timer functionality. However, the 48-hour battery-operated timer limits its convenience for those seeking a true set-and-forget daily feeding solution, making it better suited for supplementary feeding or occasional use rather than primary daily meals.
