Detailed Review

The RKBUDOL Brushless Detail Sander is a cordless finishing tool designed for woodworkers, DIYers, and anyone refinishing furniture. By running on existing Milwaukee 18V platform batteries, it provides complete cordless portability without forcing you to invest in a brand-new battery ecosystem. It directly tackles the challenge of smoothing tight spaces, stairs, window frames, and cabinets where larger circular or sheet sanders simply cannot reach.

At the core of the tool is a high-efficiency brushless motor capable of delivering up to 12,000 RPM. This speed provides the power needed for tasks ranging from aggressive paint removal and surface smoothing to fine polishing on wood and metal. The 5.5 by 5.5 by 3.5 inch mouse-shaped pad is shaped to access sharp corners and tight seams, while the lightweight build and ergonomic soft-grip handle allow for precise, one-handed operation.

The package comes ready for multiple project stages right out of the box with 20 hook-and-loop sanding sheets. You get four sheets each across five distinct grits (80, 100, 120, 200, and 240), letting you progress easily from heavy stock removal to fine surface finishing. A detachable dust collection bag attaches to the tool to catch sanding particles as you work, keeping project surfaces clearer.

Because this is sold as a bare tool, you must supply your own Milwaukee 18V battery and compatible charger. Buyers should also keep in mind that the compact mouse shape is intended specifically for detail work and edge sanding rather than rapidly leveling massive flat surfaces like large tabletops or subfloors.

Verdict: This cordless detail sander is an excellent, practical addition for anyone who already owns Milwaukee 18V batteries and needs a compact, high-speed sander for furniture, corners, and detailed woodworking projects.
