Detailed Review
The Espusta Water Proof Shower Radio provides a simple way to bring live broadcast audio into wet environments like bathrooms, kitchens, and pool areas. It solves the problem of listening to news, talk shows, or music during your daily routine without risking water damage to standard electronics.
Reception covers standard AM frequencies from 530 to 1600KHz and FM from 88 to 108MHz. With its auto-search function, the tuner quickly scans and picks up over 20 stations with minimal static. The radio also features an IPX4 water resistance rating, which safeguards the internal components against splashes from the shower or outdoor elements.
For placement, a built-in hanging handle hooks directly over showerheads, bathroom racks, or bedside tables. Power comes from three AA batteries rather than a wall plug or charging cable, making it easy to swap fresh cells and take the radio along to the garage, campsite, or beach.
Keep in mind that while the IPX4 rating handles splashes, it does not allow the radio to be submerged underwater. In addition, you need to supply your own AA batteries since they are not included in the package.
Verdict: The Espusta shower radio is a dependable choice for anyone wanting simple, splash-proof AM/FM listening. It works particularly well for morning routines, outdoor trips, and cord-free placement around the house.
