Detailed Review
The CXIENAOY Solar Animal Repellent 2 Pack provides an outdoor pest defense system designed to protect lawns, gardens, and bird feeders from unwanted wildlife. Utilizing motion-activated ultrasonic frequencies and flashing LED lights, these stakes deter animals humanely without requiring chemical treatments or manual battery replacements.
Coverage is powered by an integrated solar panel that fully charges in 6 hours, maintaining continuous operation day and night. When an animal wanders within range, the built-in 120-degree PIR sensor detects motion up to 30 feet away. The device responds immediately by emitting targeted ultrasonic waves combined with flashing LEDs to scare off the intruder before it causes property damage.
To handle different types of outdoor pests, the repeller includes two selectable frequency settings. Switching the device to ON Mode emits a 10-20KHz frequency designed for larger animals like deer and cats. Switching to AUTO Mode shifts the output to fluctuating 18-24KHz waves, which target smaller pests including rabbits, squirrels, and raccoons around crops and feeders.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the stake design, though proper placement matters. The unit needs to be installed with the sensor head roughly 8 to 9 inches above the ground for optimal coverage. While the housing is built for rain and snow, the listing does not give a specific numerical IP rating, and charging performance depends on access to daylight.
Verdict: The CXIENAOY Solar Animal Repellent 2 Pack is a practical choice for homeowners looking to guard their yards against both large and small wildlife. Its dual-frequency modes and solar operation offer dependable, low-maintenance outdoor protection.
