Detailed Review

The Ylkf Personal Evaporative Air Cooler is a compact tabletop unit designed to provide targeted cooling for desks, dorms, and bedside areas. Instead of circulating warm air like a standard desk fan, this 4-in-1 device combines a fan and fresh mist function that works with water and ice to deliver a cooler breeze directly to your personal space.

A built-in 1200ml water tank holds enough capacity to support steady cooling and misting. For nighttime use, the unit includes timer options for 2, 4, or 8 hours, allowing you to fall asleep comfortably without leaving the cooler running continuously. Operating at under 45dB, it keeps background noise low enough for study sessions, office tasks, or quiet sleep.

The cooler is built for portability with a tabletop footprint and USB-powered operation, making it easy to plug in at a desk or take inside an RV. It also features dynamic colorful lights that project a soft glow, adding a decorative accent to small personal rooms.

Because this is an evaporative cooler, it relies on adding water and ice into its tank rather than using a compressor, so it is built for close personal use rather than cooling entire rooms. The product details also leave out exact exterior measurements, though it is designed to fit on tabletops.

Verdict: The Ylkf Evaporative Air Cooler is an effective personal cooling option for anyone needing quiet, USB-powered relief at a desk or bedside. If you want a tabletop cooler with timer settings and ambient lighting, it is a practical pick for compact spaces.
