Detailed Review
The Smalibal 51-inch Foldable Bathtub provides a full-body soaking option for homes that only have a shower stall. Weighing approximately 22 pounds, this freestanding unit unfolds in seconds without any screws, tools, or complicated installation, letting you set up a bath on demand and tuck it away when finished.
Despite its collapsible design, the tub includes integrated features meant to support relaxation. It comes with an ergonomic headrest, an anti-slip seat, adjustable heights, and a built-in massage wheel to soothe muscle tension. It works across all seasons, whether you need a warm winter bath indoors or a cold plunge on an outdoor deck, garage, or campsite.
Draining the water is straightforward thanks to a dual-drain system. A bottom drain ensures complete emptying, while a side outlet connects to an included hose so you can channel runoff directly into your shower drain. When you finish, the tub folds down to just 7.87 inches thick, sliding easily into narrow gaps beside a washing machine or beneath a bed frame.
There are size limits to keep in mind before buying. The tub accommodates users up to 6.2 feet and 220 pounds, but anyone over 5 feet 9 inches will need to bend their knees while sitting. You also need to verify that the water stopper is securely set in place before filling to avoid accidental leaks in your room.
Verdict: This collapsible tub is a practical solution for renters or homeowners who lack a built-in bath. It offers quick setup, simple drainage, and compact storage for anyone under 220 pounds seeking hot soaks or ice baths at home.
