Stelpro Prima Electric Baseboard Heater, 750W / 240 (560W / 208V), 36-1/16-In

The Stelpro Prima Electric Baseboard Heater delivers steady warmth to compact spaces, measuring 36-1/16 inches in length. It is built to serve areas up to 75 square feet on a 240V supply (750W) or up to 56 square feet on a 208V connection (560W), making it suitable for small bedrooms, home offices, or targeted secondary heating.

Internally, heat is produced through a stainless steel sheathed tubular element fitted with boxed aluminum fins. To prevent the clicking sounds common to baseboard units, floating end sleeves are integrated to reduce thermal expansion noise. Air moves in through a discreet bottom inlet and vents out through the top, backed by full-length thermal protection that resets automatically if overheating occurs.

The unit features a galvanized steel exterior finished with an epoxy-polyester powdercoat. Upkeep is straightforward thanks to a front panel that detaches with two clicks, allowing access to clean out accumulated dust. For added safety, the housing uses 1/4-inch openings that help block direct contact with internal elements.

When planning installation, note that a thermostat is not included in the box. You will need to wire it to an external wall thermostat (an electronic model from Stelpro is strongly recommended) or install an optional single-pole electronic thermostat inside either the right or left junction box.

Verdict: The Stelpro Prima is a well-built heating solution for small rooms where quiet, low-profile warmth is needed. It is an ideal pick for homeowners looking for durable steel construction and straightforward maintenance, provided you are prepared to source a compatible thermostat separately.
