Detailed Review
The PAGELYST Dotted Journal Notebook 4-Pack provides a structured, durable writing space for students, note-takers, and creative planners. Each notebook comes packed with 200 pages of dot grid paper, offering a reliable everyday platform for bullet journaling, sketching, and work tracking without running out of room quickly.
Inside, the notebook uses 100gsm acid-free paper designed to resist yellowing over time. The paper surface handles most pens, markers, and fountain pens without ghosting or ink bleeding through to the opposite side. A subtle 5mm dot grid provides just enough structure for neat handwriting and straight diagrams while keeping visual clutter to a minimum. In addition, the spine allows the journal to lay completely flat at 180 degrees, making it easy to write across both sides of the spread.
The exterior features a water-resistant leather hardcover that shields your notes from coffee spills and everyday bumps in a bag. It also doubles as a firm writing surface when working without a desk. To keep your daily logging organized, each notebook includes a built-in pen holder, an elastic band to keep the book closed, two ribbon bookmarks for quick referencing, and an expandable back pocket for receipts and loose papers. Four stencil cards are also included to help create trackers and borders quickly.
Keep in mind that these journals come exclusively with a 5mm dot grid layout, which might not suit those who prefer wide-ruled lines or totally blank pages. At 5.7 inches by 8.3 inches, the medium A5 format is portable in backpacks and totes, though it will not fit in smaller jacket pockets.
Verdict: The PAGELYST Dotted Journal 4-Pack is an excellent choice for anyone who needs multi-notebook sets for work, study, or habit tracking. Its combination of thick 100gsm paper, lay-flat binding, and practical built-in accessories makes it a dependable daily planner companion.
