Detailed Review
The THOLASIS 59-inch Boneless Couch is a convertible futon sofa bed designed for small living rooms, guest spaces, and compact apartments. It serves as both everyday seating and a fold-out queen-style sleeper for overnight visitors, making it a functional option when floor space is tight.
Setup is straightforward and avoids complicated hardware. The compressed sleeper sofa requires no tools: you simply unbox it, allow the interior to expand over 48 to 72 hours, and secure the frames. Inside, a one-piece high-density foam core built without added glue delivers resilient, balanced support whether you are sitting upright or lying flat. A sturdy frame provides ongoing stability for daily household use.
Comfort and everyday maintenance are handled by the exterior corduroy upholstery. The fabric is soft, breathable, and skin-friendly, while also offering durability against pet claws, fading, and wrinkles. For daily upkeep, it cleans easily using just mild soap and water. Ergonomic armrests support your hands, shoulders, and waist, and removable sections let you open up additional sleeping room when hosting guests.
Keep in mind that the compressed foam requires up to 72 hours to fully expand before it is ready for use, so you cannot sleep on it immediately after arrival. Additionally, the 59-inch footprint is built specifically for smaller areas, meaning it seats fewer people than a full-size traditional sectional couch.
Verdict: The THOLASIS 59-inch convertible sofa bed is a practical, space-saving choice for apartment dwellers and guest room setups. If you need simple tool-free assembly and durable corduroy seating that doubles as a bed, this convertible couch fits the bill nicely.
