Detailed Review
The Mattel DC Premier Series Jokerized Batman action figure offers a twisted take on the classic hero, capturing Bruce Wayne infected by the Joker's venom. Standing at 6.5 inches tall, this Series 2 figure is designed for DC enthusiasts and collectors ages 4 and up who want a unique villainous variant for dynamic play or shelf display.
Articulated with 22 movable joints, the figure allows for an extensive range of iconic hero-turned-villain poses. The visual presentation features a distinct purple Batsuit paired with an evil Joker grin and a soft brushed tricot fabric cape that flows naturally during action setups. It also incorporates the Batlink modular system, allowing the figure to ride inside compatible vehicles and connect with modular gear across the line.
An expansive accessory pack adds significant variety to setups. Builders receive glow-in-the-dark pieces including two Kryptonite time bombs, five Batarangs, two sets of handcuffs, a spiked boxing glove, and three canisters of Kryptonite-infused Joker venom. Three separate mind control masks are also included to place on other figures in the collection.
As for limitations, fully utilizing the modular Batlink features and the mind control masks requires additional figures or vehicles, which must be purchased separately. The small accessories and styling also mean it is strictly rated for ages 4 and older rather than toddlers.
Verdict: This 6.5-inch Jokerized Batman is an excellent addition for collectors and young DC fans wanting an articulated, accessory-rich figure. Its strong articulation, fabric cape, and glow-in-the-dark gear make it well worth adding to any superhero setup.
