Detailed Review
The Kelyee 1/2-inch Cordless Impact Wrench is a heavy-duty fastening tool engineered to handle demanding automotive repairs, tire removals, and construction tasks. Delivering up to 1107 ft-lbs (1500 N.m) of torque, it is built to break free stubborn, rusted nuts and old bolts on cars, tractors, and medium trucks without tethering you to an air compressor.
At the center of the tool is an upgraded brushless motor that minimizes heat build-up while running cooler and quieter than traditional brushed designs. Power is supplied by two 21V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries encased in nylon and rubber shells for drop resistance. The included fast charger keeps workflow steady, allowing you to swap packs during extended garage or workshop jobs.
For precision and comfort, the tool features three operating modes: Lock, Forward, and Reverse Auto-Stop. The reverse auto-stop setting helps prevent fasteners from spinning off uncontrollably once loosened. A rubberized grip combined with a shock-absorbing foot joint reduces felt vibration during extended sessions, while an LED work light provides 10 seconds of extended illumination in dim engine bays or undercarriages.
As for trade-offs, the set comes with a focused selection of four sockets (17mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 22mm), meaning mechanics working on non-standard hardware will need to supply their own accessories. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the exact recharge time for the 4.0Ah batteries or the overall bare tool weight.
Verdict: This impact wrench is a well-equipped, high-torque solution for DIYers, mechanics, and equipment operators needing portable power for tire changes and heavy mechanical maintenance.
