Detailed Review
The EUHOMY Countertop Portable Dishwasher provides a practical dishwashing setup for small living spaces like apartments, dorms, rentals, and RVs. It eliminates the need for permanent plumbing by giving you two setup choices: filling the integrated 5-liter water tank manually or hooking the included hose straight to a compatible G3/4-inch faucet. A clear water-level indicator lets you know exactly when the internal reservoir is filled and ready to run.
Inside, the rack layout accommodates over 30 items per load, fitting standard plates measuring up to 10.25 inches along with everyday bowls, cups, utensils, baby bottles, and pet accessories. Cleaning performance relies on dual 360-degree spray arms paired with eight dedicated modes, including Normal, ECO, a 29-minute Quick wash, Glass, Fruit, Self-Clean, Dry, and a Baby Care/Strong cycle that washes at temperatures up to 167 degrees Fahrenheit. Built-in features like a child lock and delay start provide added flexibility during daily routines.
Post-wash care includes a hot-air drying system to prepare your dishes for storage and a dedicated Self-Clean mode to help minimize internal odors. If you ever need to empty the machine quickly, a long press of the Dry and Power buttons activates forced drainage. The appliance operates at a low 40dB sound level and carries both ETL and DOE certifications alongside a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.
Because of its compact countertop footprint, this unit cannot accommodate oversized cookware such as large baking sheets or bulky pots. You must also ensure you have at least 19 inches of vertical clearance below your overhead cabinets. Additionally, ventilation is not continuous heating, meaning deep containers and plastics might retain a few stray water droplets after the dry cycle completes.
Verdict: The EUHOMY portable dishwasher is a dependable, compact choice for renters, small households, and RV owners who want flexible washing options without modifying their plumbing. It handles standard daily table settings, baby gear, and pet dishes with minimal footprint and reliable efficiency.
