Detailed Review
The Della 42-Inch Smart Tower Fan delivers broad room ventilation designed for bedrooms, offices, and living spaces. Powered by a 35W brushless DC motor reaching up to 1550 RPM, it generates airflow up to 1950 CFM and covers distances up to 37 feet. With a 90-degree oscillation angle, it helps circulate air across an entire room rather than focusing solely on one spot.
Quiet operation and tailored controls make this tower fan especially practical for daily routines. It runs at an ultra-low 23dB sound level, making it well-suited for nighttime use in sleeping areas. You can choose from 12 distinct speed levels along with Sleep, Auto, Natural, and Normal modes. The Auto mode utilizes built-in temperature sensors to adjust speeds automatically as the room warms or cools, while the 24-hour timer lets you schedule shut-off times.
Everyday control and home placement are simple and versatile. You can operate the unit using the LED display, the included physical remote, the mobile app, or hands-free voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Moving the 9.7-pound unit between rooms is straightforward thanks to its integrated carry handle, remote storage slot, and tool-free two-step assembly. Upkeep is also manageable since the back grille and internal impeller can be removed and washed.
There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind before choosing this model. Taking full advantage of the smart automations and voice commands requires an active home Wi-Fi network. Additionally, the reach of the unit is constrained by its 6-foot power cord, meaning you may need an outlet relatively close to your preferred setup spot.
Verdict: The Della Smart Tower Fan is a strong choice for anyone needing a quiet, customizable cooling solution with modern app and voice connectivity. It is especially recommended for light sleepers and households wanting automated temperature adjustments throughout the day.
