Detailed Review
The promitop Bamboo Bathtub Tray is an adjustable, collapsible tub caddy designed to keep personal items within arm reach during a bath. Built for relaxation, it provides a stable resting surface across the tub for items like body wash, soap, a wine glass, a phone, a scented candle, a tablet, or a book.
A key practical feature is its adjustable width. The tray manually expands from 28.5 inches up to 39.8 inches to fit a wide range of bathtub sizes without the need for any assembly tools. For stability, the bottom of the tray is equipped with non-slip silicone pads, which help keep it anchored in place across the tub edges and lower the risk of tipping over.
The caddy is constructed from bamboo and finished with a protective layer of lacquer to provide water resistance and everyday durability. In addition to extending across standard tubs, the frame features a collapsible design that folds cleanly in half, making it straightforward to pack for a trip or store away in narrow bathroom corners when not in use.
When considering trade-offs, note that the minimum length is 28.5 inches, so it will not fit bathtubs narrower than that measurement. The listing also relies on manual sliding to adjust the length rather than a locking mechanism, and folded thickness specifications are not provided.
Verdict: This foldable bamboo tray is a practical choice for anyone wanting dedicated slots for their book, phone, tablet, and drinks while bathing. It is particularly suitable for households that need an adjustable, easy-to-store caddy that fits standard tubs up to nearly 40 inches wide.
