Detailed Review
The JOCOEVOL Daybed with Trundle is a multifunctional metal frame built to maximize space in bedrooms, guest rooms, kids' rooms, or small living areas. Serving as daytime seating and nighttime sleeping space, it features a pop-up trundle equipped with locking wheels. This versatile design allows you to use it as a standard daybed, split it into two separate twin beds, or join both sections together to create a single king-size sleeping surface.
For daily convenience, the industrial vintage frame incorporates a built-in power hub right in the headboard. With two standard electrical outlets, two USB ports, and one Type-C port, you can charge mobile devices directly from bed while keeping essentials stored on the 5.5-inch deep open shelf. Above the storage ledge sits an upholstered 13.5-inch linen fabric backrest filled with high-density foam, complemented by a rust-resistant black metal frame and black MDF accents.
Atmospheric lighting is built directly into the headboard via a smart RGB LED strip protected by a transparent aluminum casing. You can adjust colors and effects using manual buttons, a remote, or a smartphone app. With over 16 million colors, 20 preset patterns, and a music sync mode that pulses to audio rhythms, the lighting adapts to reading, nighttime navigation, or casual entertainment.
In terms of trade-offs, this unit requires full assembly with all included parts and tools. While the heavy-duty metal frame holds up to 880 lbs and uses an embedded slat design to keep bedding from sliding, the listing does not specify recommended mattress thicknesses for the pop-up trundle when sliding it underneath.
Verdict: The JOCOEVOL Daybed with Trundle is a solid, feature-packed choice for shoppers looking to optimize limited floor space. If you need a versatile seating and sleeping solution with built-in charging ports and customizable lighting for a guest room or shared space, this frame fits the bill nicely.
