Detailed Review
The Magic: The Gathering Edge of Eternities Play Booster Box delivers a sci-fi themed card set centered around distant planets and alien factions. This box is designed for players who want to build custom constructed decks, expand their existing collections, or host Limited game formats with friends.
Inside the box are 30 individual Play Boosters, with each pack containing 14 Magic cards and 1 token. Every booster features between 1 and 4 cards of Rare rarity or higher. Collectors also have the opportunity to pull Special Guest Mythic Rare cards from Magic history, which feature alternate borderless artwork.
Foil enthusiasts receive guaranteed value across the entire box. Every booster pack includes at least one Traditional Foil card of any rarity. In addition, one out of every five packs contains a Traditional Foil Land card, adding extra visual flair to your mana base.
Because the Rare counts vary from 1 to 4 cards per pack, exact contents will differ across individual boosters. The set theme also leans specifically into outer space and alien conflict, which may not match every player aesthetic preference.
Verdict: This 30-pack box is a solid choice for tabletop players planning Limited events or collectors seeking foils and high-rarity cards from the Edge of Eternities release.
