Detailed Review
The SUNCHERS Cordless Hedge Trimmer provides a lightweight, battery-powered solution for maintaining yard shrubbery without dealing with extension cords. Built with a 22-inch dual-action blade that operates at up to 2800 SPM, it gives homeowners the reach and speed needed to shape bushes and hedges neatly.
Day-to-day usability benefits from a very low overall weight of just 5.25 pounds. This makes overhead cuts and higher hedges much easier to manage without quick fatigue. The unit requires no assembly out of the box, letting you insert a battery and get right to work. For safety, it features a dual-switch trigger system that requires both switches to be held simultaneously, preventing unintended starts if the handle is bumped.
Power comes from two included 1.5Ah lithium batteries and a dedicated charger. Using both fully charged packs alternately delivers approximately 60 minutes of continuous runtime. Integrated indicator lights on the batteries keep you informed of the remaining charge level as you work as well as charging progress when plugged in.
There are some natural capacity limits to keep in mind. The blade opening maxes out at a 3/4-inch cutting capacity, meaning thicker limbs will require dedicated loppers or a saw. Total working time across both batteries is around an hour, which suits routine upkeep but may require extra charging breaks on very large properties.
Verdict: The SUNCHERS 22-inch trimmer is a solid, straightforward pick for homeowners who want an agile, cord-free tool for standard hedge sculpting. Its low weight and two-battery setup make it convenient for quick, regular yard maintenance.
