Detailed Review
The YAMIRY Fingerprint Keyless Entry Handle Lock replaces standard door hardware to give homeowners and renters multiple digital ways to enter without traditional keys. Designed to fit most American standard doors, it offers a practical upgrade for exterior or interior entryways where you want controlled access.
Daily operation centers around convenience with five distinct unlocking methods: fingerprint scanning, keypad passwords, key fobs, smartphone app commands over Bluetooth, and a physical backup key. The lock holds up to 50 individual fingerprints, passcodes, and key fobs, making it simple to manage access for family members or regular visitors. For securing the door on your way out, you can rely on the auto-lock feature, use the companion app, or long-press the checkmark button directly on the exterior keypad.
Hardware construction relies on aluminum chosen for high hardness and corrosion resistance to help protect against forced physical damage from the outside. Installation is straightforward and requires only a standard screwdriver to mount onto compatible doors, while initial setup and credential programming are handled through the companion mobile app.
A notable limitation is that remote access from outside Bluetooth range requires a separate Wi-Fi gateway, which is not included in the box. Without that extra add-on, full app programming and controls are limited to direct local connections.
Verdict: The YAMIRY Keypad Smart Door Knob Lock is an ideal choice for households wanting versatile, key-free entry through fingerprints, codes, and fobs. It provides solid aluminum construction and simple installation, provided you are comfortable purchasing an extra gateway if you require off-site remote access.
