Detailed Review
The MONODEAL K105 Under-Cabinet CD Player is an all-in-one kitchen entertainment hub designed to keep countertops clear. By mounting directly beneath your cabinetry, it provides multiple listening options without occupying prep space. It suits home cooks who want background music, morning radio news, or audio entertainment within easy reach.
For playback versatility, this unit handles standard audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 files alongside wireless Bluetooth streaming from phones or tablets. The built-in FM tuner includes 30 station presets, making it simple to toggle between favorite channels. Sound is delivered through dual 2W speakers engineered for clear everyday listening while preparing meals.
The unit also functions as a practical kitchen utility. It features an integrated LED light to brighten work areas, a dedicated cooking timer to track dishes, and a dual alarm clock setup. The large 2x16 character display clearly shows the current track, time, or timer status, while the included remote lets you adjust playback and volume from across the room.
As an under-cabinet unit, installation is required, though the manufacturer notes it is straightforward for one person to assemble. The audio output is tuned for casual kitchen listening with its 2x2W configuration, which may not fill large open living areas, and it lacks an AM radio tuner.
Verdict: The MONODEAL K105 is a sensible, space-saving choice for anyone wanting CD playback, Bluetooth streaming, and a built-in kitchen timer directly beneath their cabinets. It provides practical daily utilities and multi-format audio without taking up valuable counter space.
