Detailed Review
The Chemical Guys Megalodon Twisted Loop Microfiber Drying Towel (MIC531) is an extra-large drying cloth built to clear standing water quickly after a wash. Sized at 24 by 36 inches, it targets car enthusiasts and professional detailers who want to dry vehicles without leaving behind streaks, swirls, or scratches.
Its twisted loop fiber construction holds more water than traditional microfiber cloths, allowing you to dry broader sections faster. The thick, plush design glides across delicate automotive surfaces, providing gentle contact for paint, clear coats, and glass panels.
Because of its oversized footprint, the towel works well on everything from motorcycles and cars to large trucks, SUVs, and RVs, reducing the need to swap out towels mid-wash. However, the listing does not include specific laundry care guidelines or mention features like hanging loops or finished edge materials.
Verdict: This towel is an excellent choice for vehicle owners and detailing pros looking for a large, soft microfiber cloth to speed up vehicle drying safely across varied paint and glass surfaces.
