Detailed Review
This smart wall-mounted electric heater from DREO is designed to provide targeted warmth for indoor living areas, bedrooms, and home offices. Mounted directly on the wall, it saves floor space while delivering rapid heating through its internal PTC system and 11.5 ft/s airflow. It acts as a primary heat source for areas up to 150 square feet, or supplementary heating in spaces up to 750 square feet.
Daily operation is straightforward thanks to versatile control options. You can adjust settings from across the room with the included remote, use the companion DREO smartphone app, or speak voice commands through Alexa. The app also lets you calibrate temperature readings and adjust the display screen lighting. A dedicated ECO mode regulates heat output to keep the room comfortable while managing energy use.
Safety and placement are built into the design. The unit is constructed from 5 VA flame-retardant materials, incorporates overheat protection, and carries an IP24 waterproof rating. With a noise level of just 28 dB, it runs quietly in the background during sleep or work. The unit features a 30-degree manual oscillation to help aim heat toward specific spots, and installation is guided by an included template for drilling.
Keep in mind that this is a wall-mounted unit requiring wall drilling, powered by a 70.8-inch cord, so you will need an outlet within reach. Adjusting the airflow direction also requires manual adjustment since the 30-degree oscillation is not motorized, and heating efficiency depends on your room having proper insulation.
Verdict: This wall heater is a solid choice for anyone needing a quiet, space-saving heating option for small bedrooms or offices. Its smart connectivity, safety ratings, and steady airflow make it a dependable addition to any well-insulated room.
