Detailed Review
The Pukamam 24 Pack Zirconia Flap Discs set provides a versatile assortment of abrasive wheels for angle grinder users tackling surface preparation. This bulk collection solves the problem of buying separate discs for rough stock removal and smooth finishing, making it a practical choice for workshop projects.
Each wheel measures 4-1/2 inches in diameter with a standard 7/8-inch arbor, fitting most angle grinders rated up to 13,300 RPM. The abrasive material is zirconium oxide, built for strength and durability when grinding, sanding, or finishing across a wide range of materials. Having 24 pieces divided evenly among 40, 60, 80, and 120 grits lets you progress smoothly from heavy shaping down to finer surface smoothing.
A trade-off to consider is the fixed pack structure, which provides exactly six discs per grit level. If your work focuses primarily on heavy material removal with coarse 40 grit, you may run through those wheels faster than the finer options. Additionally, using these discs requires standard safety equipment such as goggles, which are not included in the box.
Verdict: This 24-piece set is an excellent option for angle grinder owners who want an all-in-one assortment for grinding and surface prep. It provides reliable zirconium oxide construction across four standard grits to cover projects from start to finish.
