Detailed Review
The TopMade Wireless Charging Mouse Pad is an extra-large desk mat that integrates wireless power directly into your workspace. Measuring 31.5 inches by 15.75 inches, it covers enough surface area to fit a full keyboard, mouse, and daily accessories while eliminating extra charging cables from your desk. It suits gamers, remote professionals, and office workers who want an organized workstation with direct access to power for their mobile devices.
Charging functionality is divided into dedicated zones on the mat. The round, raised magnetic area provides built-in magnets designed to align MagSafe-compatible phones, including iPhone 12 through 17 series models, as well as Qi-enabled devices with MagSafe cases. It delivers up to 15W fast wireless charging when paired with the proper power source. A secondary non-magnetic spot is built specifically to recharge wireless charging cases for AirPods Pro and standard AirPods models alongside your phone.
The mat is built for practical desk work and gaming. Its smooth textile weave surface supports precise mouse tracking and low-resistance gliding, while also functioning as a writing pad or desk blotter. A soft, dense rubber base keeps the entire mat firmly gripped to your desktop during intense use. For durability, the surface is waterproof to protect furniture against spills, heat, scratches, and stains, complemented by stitched outer edges that prevent fraying and peeling over time.
There are a few limitations to keep in mind before setting up your desk. Achieving the maximum 15W fast charging speed requires a 9V 3A power adapter, which is not included in the box and must be supplied separately. Additionally, this mat is completely incompatible with all Apple Watch models, and the secondary AirPods pad does not have magnetic alignment.
Verdict: The TopMade Wireless Charging Mouse Pad is a solid choice for anyone seeking an all-in-one desk cover that powers an iPhone and AirPods together. As long as you have your own 9V 3A wall adapter and do not need Apple Watch charging, it provides a clean, clutter-free setup with reliable tracking and desk protection.
