Detailed Review
The LapGear Designer Lap Desk gives you a dedicated, portable workstation for working away from a traditional table. Measuring 17.3 inches by 13.3 inches, it provides a stable flat top designed to accommodate laptops up to 15.6 inches, as well as tablets and standard notebooks.
For portable use around the house, the unit weighs just 2.01 pounds and includes an integrated carry handle. Underneath, a soft microbead cushion base conforms to the shape of your lap, providing stability and comfort whether you are sitting on a couch, bed, or chair.
The work surface includes practical features to keep your items secure. A built-in device slot props your phone upright for easy visibility, while a front ledge stops your laptop, tablet, or paperwork from sliding forward while you work.
Keep in mind that the surface is sized specifically for devices up to 15.6 inches, so larger widescreen laptops will not fit comfortably. The fixed cushion base also means you cannot alter the working angle or height.
Verdict: The LapGear Designer Lap Desk is a solid choice for remote workers, students, or anyone who wants a lightweight, cushioned lap tray for devices up to 15.6 inches.
