Detailed Review
The Flauno Cigar Humidor provides a stable, controlled storage environment for up to 40 robusto cigars. It solves the common problem of uneven moisture distribution, making it a dependable pick for enthusiasts who want to properly age their collection at home.
Airflow is central to this humidor design. A slotted shelf separates your cigars from the humidifier, preventing obstruction and allowing moisture to circulate freely through the interior. A matching slotted tray further aids air movement, while the Spanish cedar lining naturally absorbs and releases moisture to maintain balanced conditions. The lid features a protruding lip that creates a tight seal to lock that humidity inside.
Monitoring the climate inside the box is straightforward thanks to a built-in smart digital sensor. The digital hygrometer features a sensitive vent that updates internal temperature and humidity readings every 10 seconds, backed by a battery life of 12 to 18 months. On the outside, the unit features a rich grained walnut finish, a large glass viewing top, a golden lock, and a discreet lower drawer to keep smoking accessories tucked away.
As for trade-offs, capacity is specifically sized around 40 robustos, so collectors with larger inventories may outgrow it quickly. The digital sensor also relies on battery power that needs replacing after 12 to 18 months, and the listing does not specify exact physical exterior dimensions.
Verdict: This humidor is a solid choice for cigar smokers who want reliable humidity circulation and real-time digital monitoring for a moderate-sized collection. Its combination of Spanish cedar lining, tight sealing, and dedicated accessory storage offers dependable performance for everyday aging.
