Detailed Review
The Grimtron 20LB Biometric Safe provides quick, multi-method access to secure small personal items, documents, and valuables. Measuring 13.78 inches wide by 9.84 inches deep and 9.84 inches high, it fits into compact spaces like bedroom closets, offices, or next to a bed while keeping unauthorized users out.
Access is flexible and fast. The biometric scanner reads authorized prints in as little as 0.3 seconds and can store up to 30 individual fingerprints. For shared or alternative access, you can program a 3-8 digit PIN from over 6.7 million possible combinations. Two emergency override keys are included in the package in case you forget your numerical code.
Using the safe in the dark is straightforward thanks to an illuminated keypad and a built-in interior LED light. A selectable silent mode lets you open the safe discreetly without audio beeps. Inside, a removable shelf allows you to divide the space or remove it to accommodate taller items, while pre-drilled holes make it easy to bolt down the heavy-duty enclosure with its thick door and metal knob.
As a trade-off, the compact 9.84-inch height and depth naturally restrict the size and quantity of items you can store. In addition, the biometric scanner will not open for anyone until an authorized fingerprint has been registered, and the listing details do not specify what type of batteries power the electronic lock, keypad, and interior lighting.
Verdict: This safe is an ideal match for anyone needing fast, illuminated access to daily valuables or personal items in a bedroom or office. Its mix of fingerprint scanning, PIN codes, and backup keys delivers dependable flexibility in a space-saving build.
