Detailed Review
The Aiwa Exos Home combines modern wireless streaming with traditional physical media playback in an all-in-one tabletop audio system. It provides a straightforward audio hub for living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices, allowing listeners to play physical discs alongside contemporary digital audio.
Sound output is driven by 30W RMS audio hardware, utilizing dual tweeters and bass units designed to deliver clear highs and full low-end response. For playback versatility, it features an integrated CD player with Bluetooth capabilities, alongside compatibility with major streaming apps like Spotify and Apple Music from paired phones or tablets. The system also includes an FM radio tuner that can store up to 20 presets for quick access to local stations.
Beyond standard music streaming, the speaker accommodates a wide range of devices across your home. It features an optical digital input specifically intended to connect to a TV for upgraded movie and show sound, as well as an auxiliary input for wired audio sources like computers. An included infrared remote control lets you adjust playback, switch input sources, and modify the volume from across the room.
Keep in mind that the remote utilizes standard infrared technology, which requires an unobstructed line of sight to operate properly. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the unit's exact physical footprint, weight, or the specific Bluetooth version used.
Verdict: The Aiwa Exos Home is a versatile, capable choice for anyone who wants to spin physical CDs, tune into FM broadcasts, and stream playlists from a single compact 30W audio station.
